Charlotte, NC - Jet Logistics Inc. proudly announces that as a result of its latest independent safety and operations audit by IS-BAO, the IBAC council has approved Jet Logistics for prestigious Stage 3 certification. To date, there are less 90 aviation operators worldwide who hold this Stage 3 certification.
Jet Logistics was one of the first FAA Part 135 operators nationwide to embrace the IS-BAO best practices standards, earn initial certification and then Stage 2 approval from IS-BAO. “The general aviation industry is populated with many accreditation services today. Jet Logistics has clearly separated itself from most other Part 135 operators by embracing the higher IS-BAO standards,” stated W. Ashley Smith, Jr., President. “Collectively with our U.S. Department of Defense CARB approval, routine CAMTS audits for our air medical services, and now Stage 3 certification from IS-BAO, these independent accreditations truly corroborate the culture of continuous improvement within Jet Logistics. That’s a value proposition all of our customers realize and benefit from.”
As founder/President of the Jet Logistics Group, which includes Part 135 air carrier Jet Logistics Inc. and Part 145CRS Jet Logistics Technical Services, Mr. Smith participates in frequent pro-bono work within the general aviation industry on flight safety, operations and compliance matters. Mr. Smith is also a board member for CAMTS (representative on behalf of NATA) and incoming Chair of the NBAA Domestic Operations Committee.
