Charlotte, NC – The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has selected Jet Logistics, Inc., Charlotte, N.C., to receive an Aircraft Catalog Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide the agency access to a variety of airborne platforms to conduct airborne science research.
The BPA has a maximum ordering value of $10 million and an ordering period from date of award through February 7, 2013 to include both CONUS and OCONUS missions. These aircraft platforms will accommodate light and heavy-lift instrumentation payloads, on fixed wing platforms. Additional services of engineering, fabrication, and installation may be needed depending on the payload.
“This announcement by NASA further builds upon our GSA Federal Supply Schedule Contract award and other ongoing GovOps™ program initiatives,” commented W. Ashley Smith, Jr. – founder/President of Jet Logistics Inc. “The award requires a thorough audit and review process by the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center’s Wallops Flight Facility and represents an important achievement we’re proud to recognize on behalf of our associates, partners and customers.”
