Charlotte, NC – Jet Logistics announces the recent delivery of a state-of-the-art King Air B200 turbine jet air ambulance aircraft to Boston MedFlight, the award-winning Critical Care Transport program for a consortium of 6 leading Boston, Massachusetts-area hospitals.

The project was managed thru Jet Logistics’ Aircraft P.L.U.S. program, which delivers "Purchase/Lease/Upfit/Sale" services to various air medical, government andcorporate clients. “As with each of our projects, this had specific client needs unique to Boston MedFlight in developing the operational criteria, budgets and logistics required for the acquisition, maintenance and operation of such an asset,” stated Eric Giangiordano, Jet Logistics’ Director of Business Development. “Because Jet Logistics is a leading fixed-wing air medical operator, our team has first-hand expertise with the acquisition, modification, operation and maintenance of turbine jet aircraft utilized specifically for critical care transport; our customers realize the advantage of that experience as compared to traditional aircraft brokers, operators and MROs.”

Boston MedFlight’s Critical Care Transport Beechcraft King Air B200 features a glass cockpit ProLine 21 avionics suite, twin Pratt & Whitney PT6A-42 turbine jet engines, and various exterior and interior mods performed in-house by Jet Logistics and Jet Logistics Technical Services. The CAMTS-compliant interior includes features such as non-skid flooring, sanitary-friendly interior materials and surfaces, satellite tracking, cabin intercom system to facilitate personnel communication and patient care in-flight, and a Spectrum 2800-series medical stretcher system. In addition to vetting and acquiring the aircraft, Jet Logistics continues to manage BMF’s fixed-wing air medical transport operations.
