Charlotte, NC – Fixed-wing operator, and leading air medical vendor, Jet Logistics Inc. announced it has successfully completed all FAA training and testing to receive authorization to conduct operations in the Pacific Ocean and surrounding areas. This immediately expands the company’s service range for air medical/ambulance clients thru-out the Pacific region, including but not limited to the Hawaiian Islands. Jet Logistics now holds FAA approval to operate in all areas of the globe, other than the Polar Region.
Company President W. Ashley Smith, Jr. commented, “These latest certifications compliment the company’s existing worldwide op-specs and other specialized accreditations comprising the company’s own FAA global authorization initiative, which coincided with the development and expansion of international, long haul medical transport services for our AeroMedOPS™ and GovOPS™ divisions.” The announcement means appropriately equipped company or client-owned aircraft in the company’s fleet such as the Learjet 36 and Hawker 800/800XP can now operate global air medical transport missions in the Pacific region for air medical providers relying upon Jet Logistics to manage their fixed-wing transport programs.

JLI’s global operations provide significant value to our company and our ability to provide critical medical services to our valued patients/customers,” stated Angela Hall, President of AirEMS™ – a Tulsa, Oklahoma based customer of Jet Logistics.
